I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado’s historic Five Points neighborhood, with family roots in Fort Worth, Texas and Norfolk, Virginia. My background in military aviation, technical operations, and field leadership shapes how I approach drone services today—focused on safety, precision, and accountability.

After graduating from George Washington High School in 1991, I served in the United States Navy from 1991 to 1996 in multiple aviation roles, including Aircrew Rescue Swimmer with HC-6, and Aviation Ordnanceman aboard the USS George Washington (CVN-73). These roles required strict adherence to procedures, situational awareness, and teamwork in high-risk environments.

From 1997 to 1998, I worked internationally in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as a Helicopter Crew Chief Instructor and Mission Support Aircrew member for Kawasaki Helicopters Saudi Arabia Ltd., further strengthening my experience in aviation training, mission planning, and operational discipline.

After returning to Colorado, I founded ASR Innertainment LLC and later led Represent! Represent!, a hip-hop–based education and social justice organization. I also hosted Mahogany Soul Child Radio on Jazz89 KUVO Denver and served as a Veterans Services Coordinator with Catholic Charities Denver. These roles strengthened my leadership skills and reinforced the importance of service and community engagement.

I returned to aviation-focused technical work after graduating from Metropolitan State University of Denver, with a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Aerospace Management, and spent several years in commercial aviation operations, including aircraft dispatch, crew scheduling, and aviation fuels.

Since 2019, I have operated as an FAA Part 107 certified commercial sUAS pilot and Owner/Operator of Black Star Drone Solutions LLC, delivering professional drone services for construction and technical applications. I hold advanced certifications in sUAS thermography and UAS operations and safety, I’m an AUSVI member, and earned a Master’s Degree in UAS Engineering and Operations in 2025.

Today, I provide reliable, compliant, and data-driven drone solutions designed to integrate seamlessly into active job sites and support informed decision-making. Please feel free to reach out and schedule a consultation, training , drone service or any other questions you may have about what Black Star Drone Solutions provides.
